The United States Power Squadrons® is America’s Boating Club®. Organized in 1914, it is a non profit, nation-wide boating organization that is structured into over 30 districts with over 300 squadrons that are geographically associated, including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Our members learn boating skills, engage with boating friends, and connect with the boating community. The America’s Boating Club of Clearwater teaches boating safety classes that improve your boating skills and knowledge so you have more fun on the water.
The Clearwater club is a member of District 22. The club is located in central Florida on the Gulf Coast, in the city of Clearwater. It has been serving the Clearwater area since 1948. Every month our members participate in a wide assortment of activities which include: Teaching educational programs emphasizing boating skills, Vessel Safety Checks, organizational activities, and participating in local community civic events which endorse boating skills.
